Meals for 9/24/09

Hello friends...sorry I am so late with my post...its been a busy morning! Riley and I decided to take a nice walk to a park that is over the bridge from my apartment. I haven't done this walk before but it was fun to go and explore. It was a nice can read about it on my other blog where I go into more detail and I posted a collage of pictures I can click on the collage to see the pictures full size if you would like:)

For breakfast I just had some sandwich thins with reduced fat peanut butter...I was also planning on having a banana but I didn't...that is when I got all excited about getting out for the I will be eating a nice lunch...her is a picture of breakfast:

Sandwich Thins = 1 point
Reduced fat Peanut Butter = 2 points
Total points for Breakfast = 3 points

For lunch I am going to have a tuna salad sandwich on my sandwich thins, garlic & herb All bran crackers, Baby bell cheese and some Veggie Crunchers...I am not going to take a picture of it because I have posted this same picture on another can click here to was my dinner for this day...well I better get busy because it is 1:15 pm and I am starving! :) I feel great after that long walk today! Here are the stats for lunch:

Sandwich thins = 1 point
Tuna Salad = 2 points
Tomato = 0 points
All bran crackers = 2 points
Babybel cheese = 2 points
Veggie Crunchers = 3 points
Total Points for Lunch = 10 points

Afternoon Snack: Vitamuffin Deep Chocolate = 1 point

Larger point lunch than I normally eat but I had a very low point I will catch you all later!!

Hello everyone...after recovering from our walk Riley and I spent the afternoon relaxing and doing a little cleaning and catching up on all of your blogs...I have followed so many now it is hard to keep up! :) I made the mistake of not planning my day before hand and ended up with 16 points for the rest of the day...and I don't have anything that I could really eat that was high in this is what I had for dinner:

Smart Ones Mini Pepperoni Pizzas = 5 points
Carrots = 0 points
2 Babybel cheese = 4 points
Berry Parfait = 2 points
LaraBar Apple Pie = 4 points
Total points for Dinner = 15

Dessert: Vita Brownie = 1 point


The Apple Pie LaraBar was really good. I am trying to not go under points especially since we took that long walk this morning...

  2. Christa, glad to hear you are walking. I am warming up to the was a beautiful walk for me this AM. I find I need to walk first thing, or else it might not happen. Thank you for your support and and Tammy have really got me excited about losiing weight. Hugs, Kathleen

  3. The food looks yummy. And I agree that it's good to use up all your points if you have them, especially if you are exercising.

    I've been seeing those sandwich thins everywhere and have yet to try them. I'm curious what veggies are on your lunch plate? It looks good, but different somehow.

  4. So glad you enjoyed the walk with Riley! I did 2 miles by myself this morning, then went back to the park this evening and took Scarlette with me for another 2 mile walk. She loves it!
