Meals for 10/9/09

Good Morning everyone...another dreary cloudy day here today...you can sure tell fall is in the air. Over the weekend the lows are supposed to be 39 and the highs in the 50's and by next Tuesday the low is 32 and high is 49! I am very excited next weekend we are going to take a drive up to the Kancamagus Scenic Byway...it is supposed to be a beautiful drive with amazing fall colors...can't wait to take my camera and get alot of pictures...:) Here is one I got off the internet!

I have been really enjoying having cereal for breakfast...it really fills me up and I have noticed the extra fiber helping in other places...TMI! LOL Here is my breakfast:


Fiber One Cereal = 3 points
Milk = 1.5 points
Apple = 1 point
Total points for Breakfast = 5.5 points

I hope everyone is having a great day so far! It is Friday!!! Kevin and I are going to shop for some Fall decorations tomorrow:) Check back later for lunch:)

Hey friends! This afternoon is still cloudy and dreary and starting to rain a bit...just came back from taking the little man out for his afternoon walk around the apartment...watching some more of my show "Medium" and doing the last bit of laundry...I LOVE fresh clean sheets! For lunch I had:



Pasta Primavera = 5 points
Cottage Cheese = 1.5 points
All Bran crackers = 2 points
Lemon Torte Parfait = 2 points
Total points for Lunch = 10.5 points

Afternoon Snack:

VitaBrownie = 1 point

Hi everyone! I am really tired tonight...just watching some TV with the husband and surfing the internet...:) Here is what I had for dinner:


Lean Pocket = 5 points
Veggie Crunchers = 3 points
Babybel cheese = 2 points
Total points for Dinner = 10 points

Dessert: Skinny Cow Chocolate Ice Cream Cone = 3 points

TOTAL POINTS USED FOR THE DAY = 30 points!

  1. Hi, I'm a long time friend of Nikki. Your blog title caught my attention. I have been thinking and struggling to lose my weight. One question: how many points are we supposed to have per days? If I am correct, is it supposed to be up to 21 points per day?

  2. It's funny how as we age we really do need more fiber! I always thought that was a joke. One think I LOVE are the fiber one chewy granola bars. The chocolate and oats one is sooooo gooooood!
