Meals for 10/7/09

Good Morning friends! Today is a rainy cloudy dreary day...a good day to just curl up in a chair with a good book! I am working on lots of laundry...don't know where all the clothes came from! Kevin and I received an email this morning from my sister-in-law letting us know that their Mom was admitted into the hospital last night having a hard time breathing. We are just waiting to hear from them to see how she is this morning...:(

This morning I did something a little different for breakfast...I love cereal but it never fills me up! I found this Fiber One Shredded Wheat and it was very should be for having 5 grams of fiber! Here are the pictures...

Fiber One shredded wheat = 3 points
1% Milk = 1.5 points
Banana = 1.5 points
Total points for Breakfast = 6 points

Not feeling so good today...another sore throat this morning and feeling a little stuffed I am going to take it easy and do some housework and laundry today...check in later for lunch:) Later gators!

Hello everyone! We had a pretty nice storm roll through...check out my other blog for pictures...I have never seen such dark clouds! For lunch I had something a little different...a Smart Ones Pot Roast, Cottage Cheese, All Bran Garlic & Herb Crackers and my Lemon Torte Parfait...:)

Smart Ones Pot Roast = 3 points
Cottage Cheese = 2.5 points
All Bran Garlic & Herb Crackers = 2 points
Lemon Torte Parfait = 2 points
Total points for Lunch = 9.5 points

Afternoon Snack: Apple = 1 point

Kevin's Mom will be staying in the hospital for a few more days...please give her some good thoughts...they still don't know why she is having trouble breathing...

For dinner I am having leftovers from last night...Kevin had to work late so I had my dinner and the rest are for leftovers for tonight:) Catch you all later!

Chicken Enchiladas = 10 points
Corn = 1 point
Milk = 2 points
Total points for Dinner = 12.5 points

Dessert: Skinny Cow Chocolate Ice Cream cone = 3 points


Yes I went over my points for the day...but that is what my flex points were for...what is weird is I have noticed that if I don't use my flex points I don't lose as much..but when I do I drop the weight...I love the flex points! :)

  3. First of all, I will be praying fervently for Kevin's mother. There is power in prayer girl. Secondly, those enchiladas look fantastic!! I must make some of these VERY soon! I really wish I knew how the WW points converted to calories, as I count calories. I did WW not too long ago and it's a great program...I'm just too lazy to commit to going to the meetings! Definitely use those flex points....they are there for a reason, and will optimize your weight loss! Trust me on this! :)
