Meals for 10/11/09

Hello y'all....I hope your having a great Sunday!! It is beautiful sunny day here in Boston...but still very chilly outside. I don't think we are supposed to even hit 60 degrees today. I got up and had my sandwich thins with peanut butter and then headed out to the grocery store...man I hate going to the grocery store on the weekends!! It is so crowded and people are not the nicest...one thing that drives me nuts is when someone has their cart on one side and is standing on the other side blocking the entire aisle!! And they see me standing there but do nothing....grrrrr

Sandwich Thins = 1 point
Reduced Fat Peanut Butter = 2 points
Total points for Breakfast = 3 points

I am going to have some leftover pulled beef sandwiches for lunch...with some veggie crunchers:) Check in later to see the pictures...I will remember to take them before I eat the sandwich! LOL

Hello everyone! I have had a busy day since I last talked to you all...I am making a Mexican Corn Chowder...Living in New England I know I should say Chowdah but as my husband pointed out a Chowdah wouldn't have corn in it but claims...LOL...I got the recipe from Heather over at Leading the Weigh...she is a WW leader and she has alot of great ideas and advise...check out her blog:) I took a picture of it but I don't think it will look the same when its done cooking...this is what it looks like as it is starting to cook...I didn't do the chicken I just added an extra can of black beans...this will probably be my lunch the rest of the week:)

This will have 10 servings at 3 points a serving.

For lunch I had leftovers from last night...I LOVE that stuff....it is so yummy!! Here it is...I took a picture this time:




Fiber One Hamburger bun = 2 point
Pulled beef = 3 points
Veggie Crunchers = 3 points
Total points for Lunch = 8 points

Dinner plans are soft taco's...check back later and see:)

Hey:) I didn't eat the Lemon Torte Parfait after lunch so I took it off the day menu...I did have quite a few bites of my soup to test the carrots and make sure it was done...so I should count at least 3 points for that...so I will:)

Tonight we had soft taco's:

2 soft tacos = 9.5 points
Diet Pepsi = 0 points
Total points for Dinner = 9.5 points

Prune juice = 3 points

Dessert: Skinny Cow Chocolate Ice cream cone = 3 points

TOTAL POINTS USED FOR THE DAY = 30.5!

  1. Hey Christa. We had a similiar experience at Wal Mart yestday when we bought groceries. I think me and Wayne both were about at our boiling point. People act so stupid at the store.

  2. Told ya that soup was good! We made another batch this weekend, and have already eating half of it. lol I loooooove Veggie Crunchers. It's one of the few things my kids will for sure stay far away from & I get to have all to myself. :)

  3. Hey Christa ! The Diet Coke Cake is super simple ! 1 can of diet cake and one box of chocolate cake mix. Mix the soda with the mix and bake according to the directions on the box that's it ! You can also use other cake and soda combinations , but chocolate is my fav. Enjoy !

  4. ohh I see the box now! looks good! I usually make pulled pork in the crock pot. Its a WW recipe that I love!!!
