Hello Everyone...today was a busy day so far...over the weekend I let things go a little bit so I had alot of make up laundry and housework to get done...so that is why I am a little later posting...as you can see from my previous post I gained .4 pounds...not happy about it but I need to accept it and move on and keep on plan...here is my breakfast...in case you haven't figured it out its my favorite breakfast!
Sandwich Thins = 1 point
Reduced Fat Peanut Butter = 2 points
Total points for Breakfast = 3 points
For lunch I decided to have my wrap that I had last Friday and use the left over chicken from Boston Market..no skin just the meat and baby carrots. Here it is:
BBQ Ranch Chicken Wrap = 6 points
Baby Carrots = 0 points
Total Points for Lunch = 6 points

For dinner I am making Chicken Tetrazzini from a Taste of Home Comfort Food Diet cookbook. It is really yummy and its only 5 points for a 1 1/4 cup serving! Check back later for more details and pictures...

I still had plenty of points left and I don't like to eat them at night so I had some Veggie Crunchers and a Babybel cheese.
Veggie Crunchers = 3 points
Babybel Cheese = 2 points
Total points for snack = 5 points
Plans changed for dinner...we were in the mood for something a little more simple...we still had chicken but baked with Shake & Bake, corn and Stove Top Chicken Stuffing. It was really good...and filling:) Here is the picture:)
Chicken w/shake & bake = 6.5 points
Corn = 2 points
Stove Top Chicken Stuffing = 3 points
Total Points for Dinner = 11.5 points
Dessert: Vita Brownie = 1 point
TOTAL POINTS USED FOR THE DAY = 29.5!
That's ok about the weight gain, it was just a little bit. I have a habit of letting that get me down and then I quit. Don't quit! You're still under 100 lbs to lose! Go you!
ReplyDeleteI have not tried Babybel. I've seen it advertised, but haven't seen it in the store.
ReplyDeleteYour dinner looks delish! I've not thought of shake 'n bake for chicken! I usually use that on pork chops.
HI Christa, I have the same thing for breakfast every mroning, unless I go out for breakfast (rare). Why? Because I love it. I know how you must feel with a weight gain of ANY amount. Nothing is more frustrating to me, than when I exercise faithfully, follow my calorie plan to the T, and then weigh the same or gain. And it has happened to me. Makes me want to eat a whole cake by myself. But, all you can do is just keep doing the right thing. Hang in there girlfriend, your comittment will pay off. Thinking of you, hugs, Kathleen
