Hello everyone...sorry for the late post...its been a very busy and active day today! Check out my other blog for details...I only took pictures of my lunch...we got up and got out of the house early this morning...so things were a little rushed! I hope you all have had a great day so far! We went to the Big "E" which is the Eastern States Exhibition...a very large fair in Springfield, MA. It was sooooo hard resisting the fried dough, fried cheesecake and they even had fried veggies for goodness sakes!! Why take a healthy thing like veggies and fry them?? It was hard to find something to eat that was WW friendly so we ended up eating a hot dog. I listed it as 2 hot dogs on WW and 2 hot dog buns because it was pretty long! Here is a picture of it:
Do you think I was right to count it as 2 hot dogs and buns? Its better to be safe than sorry I guess! Anyway...it was better than a hamburger or corn dog...I think?? We had a great time and we walked our butts off for 3 hours...so we probably worked most of it off anyways! So here are all my numbers for the day....:
Breakfast: Banana = 2 points
Snack: Zone Strawberry Yogurt Bar = 4 points
Lunch: Hot dog = 10 points
Hot dog bun = 6.5
Ketchup = 0 points
Fries (shared with Kevin) = 5 points
4 oz Coke = 1 point
Dinner: BLT = 5 points
All Bran Garlic & Herb crackers = 2 points
Dessert: Watermelon = 1 point
TOTAL POINTS USED FOR THE DAY = 36.5 points!
ACTIVITY POINTS EARNED FOR THE DAY = 11 points!
I am very proud of how we did overall today...we could have very easily eaten some of the fried items that they had or even had the famous Cream Puff (check out the picture HERE but we didn't! We only had the hot dog and we shared the fries...and the Coke (we thought it was diet but it wasn't!). I am looking forward to going back next year...it was alot of fun! Have a great day tomorrow! I won't be so late tomorrow:) Night everyone!
Hey Christa,
ReplyDeletethanks for your comment! Nice to meet you! Glad to hear you and your husband have joined the WW community...it really does work!
Hey, if you're ever having trouble figuring out the points in something you should check out the WW electronic calculator or scale. They both have accurate measurements of stuff...I've found it helps me a lot. I prefer using that to the generic food lists that WW provides...one food can range a lot in points sometimes.
Good luck!
Wow! That is one big hot dog! I don't know much about the points, but I'd think that would count for double for sure!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a really great time!
Ketchup is zero points? Are you serious? Even with all the sugar?!
