Hello everyone:) Another busy morning...sorry for the late post. After all the work yesterday I wanted to get my new pantry set up. I needed to get some shelving that would fit in the closet. I am going to post separately on that though on my other blog...:) For breakfast I just had a Banana...I wanted to get out early and get back early because today is the first day of NFL Football and I know that Kevin has been looking forward to watching it...:)
Banana = 2 points
For lunch I had a roast beef & cheese sandwich, sugar free chocolate pudding and grapes..and some prune juice...:) Here is the picture...
Sugar Free Chocolate pudding = 1 point
Grapes = .5 points
Prune Juice = 3 points
Total points for Lunch = 4.5 points
I didn't end up eating the sandwich because the meat didn't taste right...it could have been because of the mouth rinse I am having to use 2 times a day...but I didn't want to take a chance.
So I will just save my points for dinner...I am making my Mom's Goulash for dinner...catch you all later!

Another day of meals....I can't believe the weekend is almost over...its been a busy one. I went grocery shopping this afternoon and got ingredients for our meals for the week...then when I got home I cleaned out the fridge and ran the dishwasher...Kevin and I spent the rest of the afternoon cleaning and picking up the house...it looks so good! With less clutter it looks bigger! I am going to work on the kitchen tomorrow and reorganize it so that I have more space and then start working on the craft room/office...:) Tonight I made my Mom's Goulash and its one of my favorite meals growing up. It is very simple and you can add things to make it your own if you want...here it is:
2 servings of Goulash = 11.5 points (one serving is approx 6 points)
2 slices of large sourdough bread = 3.5 points
Butter = 3 points
Total points for Dinner = 18 points
Dessert: WW Ice cream candy bar = 3 points
5 prunes = 2 points
TOTAL POINTS FOR THE DAY = 29.5!
ACTIVITY POINTS USED FOR THE DAY = 7 !
Recipe for Mom's Goulash
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cans of Tomato soup
1 Tbsp chili powder
4 oz Medium shell pasta
Brown the hamburger and onion, drain. Add tomato soup and chili powder. Cook pasta according to the directions on the box. Add the pasta to the meat mixture and heat through. That's it! :) Enjoy
I hope everyone has a great night! I am going to sleep well I know that!!
I love the new picture on top of your blog. Just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt always feels so good to have a clean home, doesn't it. I spent a lot of last weekend cleaning and it made a big difference the rest of the week in how I felt about my house. Of course, it needs a bit of tidying up again now. Too, bad the cleaning doesn't last longer before it has to be done again.
Thank you 2Bmeagain...I took that picture one morning from my apartment...it was too beautiful not to:)
ReplyDeleteThe goulash looks tasty....Mom's recipes are always the best, aren't they? Gonna' have to give that a try! :)
ReplyDeleteI thought my husband and I were the only ones who made goul's wash. We ate it as kids and still make it. Your pic sure made bread and butter sound good.
ReplyDeleteGood job keeping up with your points!
Now, that is not how I pictured Goulash to be. I thought it was more soupy than that! This is such a pretty blog...
